Most people aren't given a clear, honest explanation of their Medicare options. So they guess, settle, or put it off, and hope they got it right.
Medicare Advantage(Part C)
All-in-one plans that often bundle extras like dental, vision, hearing, fitness, and prescription drug coverage, often with a $0 monthly premium.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap)
Fills the gaps that Original Medicare leaves behind, with the freedom to see any doctor that accepts Medicare and predictable out-of-pocket costs.

Real questions people ask about Medicare, answered in plain English.
Why should I work with a Medicare agent?
The value of an agent is peace of mind that you understand your coverage, and avoiding lifelong penalties from not doing things properly. In most zip codes there are many different plans available, which can be overwhelming if you're not doing it every day. You also get someone you can call with questions in the future, and it's free. It can't hurt.
Doesn't it cost money to use an agent?
No. Agents don't cost you any extra money. I'm simply someone in your corner who helps walk you through everything, gives you peace of mind, and makes sure you're not missing anything.
Is Medicare free?
One of the main misconceptions is that Medicare is free, but that's not the case. There's a monthly premium associated with it. Medicare also doesn't cover everything, things like dental, vision, hearing aids, and nursing homes generally aren't included.
Can I just have Part A and Part B and still have good coverage?
Having only Part A and Part B isn't advisable because there are still a lot of holes in the coverage. The biggest is that there's no cap on your Part B coinsurance, Part B covers 80% of the bill and you're responsible for the other 20% with no dollar limit. On a major procedure that can add up fast.
What's the biggest disadvantage of Medicare Advantage?
Medicare Advantage plans typically have networks you have to stay within and often a higher out-of-pocket maximum. Many require prior authorization for services, and they may not travel as well as other coverage, which matters for snowbirds.
How should I start planning Medicare for myself or a parent?
Find someone you really trust as your Medicare agent, a good agent won't let anything slip through the cracks. Start early, ideally 3 to 6 months ahead of the month the person turns 65.

Let's take the confusion out of Medicare.
